Riskuity 2.21.2 (Beta) Release Notes

Beta release with Bitbucket, Azure, and Jira integrations; tenant-configurable risk metadata; Help and Support editing; hierarchical controls; chat bot admin; MFA choices; and reliability fixes.

What’s new

This release expands how customers connect Riskuity to external systems, manage tenant-specific settings, and administer in-app experiences. It also includes a wide range of bug fixes to improve reliability across projects, surveys, workflows, framework imports, and permissions.

Feature highlights

SCN Bitbucket webhook integration

Customers can configure Bitbucket webhooks to send Significant Change Notice-related events into Riskuity. Incoming webhook events are stored in the Riskuity Data Lake and displayed within the application.

Customer benefit: This reduces manual tracking of repository activity and helps teams maintain better visibility into change events that support audit and compliance workflows.

Azure tenant app integration

Riskuity now supports customer-managed Azure tenant app integrations so organizations can use their own Azure tenant app to connect Riskuity to Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint for audit evidence collection.

  • Attach external evidence to audit evidence submissions
  • Use customer-controlled Azure app configuration
  • Automatically synchronize external updates to the Riskuity Data Lake once daily

Jira webhook integration

Customers can configure Jira webhooks for integration with Riskuity, with two synchronization options:

  • Jira Project to Riskuity Project sync: when a Jira project is created, a linked Riskuity project can be created and kept in sync with future updates
  • Jira Issue to Riskuity Task sync: when a Jira issue is created, a linked Riskuity task can be created and kept in sync with future updates

Result: Teams can reduce duplicate data entry and keep work aligned across Jira and Riskuity.

Tenant-configurable risk metadata

Riskuity now supports tenant-level configuration for risk metadata values used in dropdowns across risk workflows:

  • Risk statuses
  • Risk scores
  • Risk mappings
  • Risk likelihoods
  • Risk impacts

This gives organizations more flexibility to align Riskuity with their internal risk taxonomy and reporting model.

Help and Support content management

Super users can manage Help and Support content directly in the application. A built-in HTML editor supports content creation and updates, and sections can be reordered using drag and drop.

  • Create, update, and delete support content
  • Edit formatted content with HTML support
  • Reorder sections for preferred page layout

Sub-controls and sub-project controls

Framework imports now support sub-controls, and users can associate controls and sub-controls directly in the application interface. Project controls and their child controls can also be linked through the GUI—improving support for hierarchical control structures and making setup more efficient for detailed frameworks.

Chat bot editing for super users

Super users can manage chat bot prompts and response content from within the Riskuity application. Previously, this was limited to API-based management—making ongoing chat bot administration easier for non-technical administrators.

Super user read-only permission area

A new read-only permission display area gives super users added visibility into system permissions.

Multi-factor authentication preferences

Users can choose their preferred MFA method from the following options:

  • Email
  • SMS
  • TOTP authenticator app

TOTP support provides an additional authenticator-based option for customers who want a strong and flexible MFA approach.

  • WBS and workflows: Can’t delete WBS; Approval workflows not appearing as clickable links in display; Task Approval Workflows List tab not showing on task display; Stakeholders in Approval Workflows
  • Surveys: Edit button for a question within a panel not working properly; Rating type only displaying 1–5; Checkbox and radiogroup options not displaying; Survey design buttons getting cut off; Survey list action buttons only appearing sometimes; Duplicate fields appearing in survey; General survey bugs
  • UI and refresh behavior: When a keyword is added to a project it posts but does not instantly update project display
